She's been bathed and groomed so she looks like a delightful floof of a wolf right now and not the fierce, murdering Judge she should be. Jacob would be furious.]

So I opened a bunch of the presents or whatever they were, outside in the crashed ship and PT got some good stuff.

Did uh.. Did anyone find something that seemed really meant for them? Maybe something a little fucked up?

I wish I could see it. It sounds awesome.

That was the part I could never get enough of where I'm from. We called it 'Big Sky Country' because you had this uninterrupted view of the sky where it felt like you could see forever.

Makes you feel real small, but like you're a part of something bigger, you know?

I know that feeling. Maybe that's what makes us the same, you know? Despite the time and space from your galaxy to mine. Even as somewhere as horrible as the planet I come from, I looked up and felt the same when I looked at the stars.

I don't really want to be here, but being in space is pretty awesome. Never imagined I'd ever go to a different planet. So there's that at least.

Other than being held here against my will, but even that... is not too much different than back home. So upgrade all around.

If only because he's not going to drink the syrup out of the bottle in front of someone else.]

Pretty good. Then again, my increased metabolism means I can knock them back for a while, so we'll see how I go.

Well the bot will keep them coming forever. I dunno how we haven't run out of tequila yet. Unless we have and I didn't notice but I'm sure someone would have trashed the place if that happened.

Just.. you know. I've been here almost a year and it keeps making the same thing constantly.

Probably because no one has taught them. Robots like these are like little kids. They don't know until you tell them how to do it.

Yes and no. To begin with yes, but that's the difference between AI and VI.

AI is artifical intelligence, but that's just a fancy way of saying thinking like you and I are capable of. Thinking, feeling, learning, creating, developing themselves. You know - what makes people, people.

Virtual Intelligence is like uhm... here let me show you.

[ She rummages around off-screen for a few seconds, out of shot except her tail which is flicking back and for as she seems to reach for something. ]

So they get smarter? The more they do stuff they learn how to do it better or whatever? That's kinda cool. But my guess is at some point it goes horribly wrong and they murder everyone.

That's the plot of almost every robot movie.

Not that often, actually. Sure some of them want to kill, mostly because that's what everyone does in my part of the galaxy. But just as many open book shops or become pole dancers or whatever.
