[Newt is in the park on the lower level but there's something a bit... different here all the sudden. It's hard to tell what he's standing in front of, because it's completely covered in some sort of fungus.

He looks a bit concerned.]

Guys, we might have problem.

[He pans the camera around the immediate area, and it's all the same, everything in sight covered in the same sort of fungus, and when he takes steps toward the edge of the lake, the angry red algae doesn't look much better.]

My gut says if it's red, you're dead.

There's gotta be some way to analyze it, right? With all those labs and all that tech...

Yeah, I'm not plannin' on it, if I can avoid it. But-- [He waves his free hand vaguely.] Yeah, not sure how we'll collect it to analyze without touching it.

Could borrow one of the radiation suits from near the doors to outside. Pretty sure those things will keep out most... whatever, even if they've got a built in time limit. Better than throwing on a pair of gloves and hoping for the best.

[ Not that he's offering to be the one who does this. Ben has got that heroic self-sacrificing thing drilled into him like the rest of the Umbrella Academy, but he also likes being alive now thanks very much. He isn't going to volunteer for something like this where his own personal set of self-defense skills probably won't make a difference. ]

I don't know a lot about science and all that, but Peter Parker is smart. You might try asking him.

Oh, yeah, that's a good point. [Honestly, he's still trying to get an inner catalog of things in this place settled in his mind. He might have completely forgotten about the radiation suits. He hasn't aimed to go outside at all once he learned how dangerous it was. The Scorch had been bad enough with it's sand storms and lightning literally striking his friends from the sky, thanks.] Yeah, all right. Seems to be a good consensus goin' there. Bloke must be up to his ears in stuff around here. [He kind of feels bad for the guy, if he's honest. There's so much in that area of things to do here, and it seems like he's the main, if not the only, one here that can handle the brunt of it.]

[ Oh, dear. Yeah, from what Ben's seen, that sounds about right for Peter - when Ben had suggested he take a break one time, Peter had turned it down. He hadn't meant to heap more on his already probably overfull plate. ]

There's got to be other qualified people, too. I don't know everybody around here.

Yeah, I'm sure there must be. I haven't met everyone yet, either. But hopefully those other qualified folks will see this, too. [That had been his intent, anyway. Just a blanket heads-up for everyone across the board.]
