I am seeking to assemble a group of individuals who might be interested in making the parlor we were first received in more palatable. We could stand to remove the dead plants, at the very least. A little bit of comfort, I've found, goes rather a long way in these sorts of situations. And it's a fairly intimidating room as-is, I'm afraid.
Please understand that there is no obligation to take part in this effort. I understand that it could be considered a... a bit of a light concern to prioritize. There won't be any hard feelings, as they say. I shall endeavour to complete this task to the best of my ability regardless, and any time you've taken to consider my request is, of course, deeply appreciated.

Your idea is a good one; it is a pretty intimidating room and no sense in adding to the doom-and-gloom aspect if we can help it. In my experience, little things like that can help keep morale up or at least start things off on a better footing, which is better for everyone.

Thank you for your interest! I believe that even one person volunteering can make an enormous difference. It certainly makes a difference to me, at the least.
This project is likely to consist more of straightforward cleaning than anything else, if you're amenable. We should all have time to contribute personal touches in the future. I'm happy to send word once I have things a touch more organised.
