It seems I've ended up in a rather interesting place somehow.

Well, since we'll be spending the foreseeable future together, how about we try to get to know each other a little? My name is Ritsu Shikishima, and due to various circumstances, I have no world to return to (if it's okay, I'd rather not talk about it). And so, I can't say I'm really in a rush to get out of here or anything.

I think I’ll journal everything I can recall before an after, and maybe this can help anyone that ends up like me in the future.

I’m fine standing in front of a real gun. I think I’ll be fine. Any lingering effects you’re aware of for people you’ve shot?

As for lingering effects, there's nothing longterm. You might feel physically and mentally exhausted in the immediate aftermath, but it won't last long.

Though, I should warn you that they call my power the "Catharsis Effect" because it inspires a cathartic release in emotions. One of the people I tried it on immediately broke down into tears from getting his memories back. If, by chance, that happens to you... well, I won't judge you; you wouldn't be the first, and it's really nothing to be embarrassed about.
