This isn't London either.
[That much, it would seem, is completely obvious... but the young man on the screen isn't addressing his audience when he says it. He looks like he's just stepped out of the decontamination area after retrieving his belongings and more or less booking it away, and he doesn't look like he's impressed with any of this despite the dark sunglasses concealing his eyes.]
Look, this is getting ridiculous-- and don't tell me, people here haven't figured out a way to get the-- Somewhere back home either?
[He pulls in a breath, sharply and through his teeth, and grimaces.]
At least tell me there's a decent bar.

hello and welcome to anchor!
unfortunately no we have not figured out a way back
as to the quality of the bar
i cannot say for sure
since i dont drink
however i suspect it will depend heavily on how you feel about tequila sunrises

[Curious minds need to know.]

no one knows why
is it a simple malfunction?
revenge for some long forgotten slight?
or does he resent his customers for their ability to take time off and get plastered
when he himself can do neither?
it is a mystery for the ages

Adds some flavour to the story.

Shitty service. Crappy labels. Everything bad.
So you know, welcome to Anchor or whatever.

[He doesn't sound entirely sure that he ought to be thanking anyone just yet.]
I'm used to being self-sufficient.

video @Yamamoto
[He doesn't mind it here and seems relatively happy as he smiles at the video.]

[Even fifteenth century Spain would be fine. He'd take the shock of seeing what humans were managing to do to each other all over again if it meant he could stop universe-hopping.]
Don't suppose you've seen someone 'round here calling himself Aziraphale? Looks around forty, blue eyes, blond?
no subject
[It's true, crazy as it sounds life on Anchor is mundane compared to what he is used to.]
Nope, never seen the guy. Genji said it depends on what you like to drink on the bar.

Like the loss of something strange and oppressive in the air.]
Red wine, but I'm picky. [He likes the fine things.] Or whiskey. Less picky about whiskey.
no subject
I guess they make tequila sunrise, whatever that is, would it work?
[But they probably have whiskey too, he'll have to update Crowley as he gets drunk for the first time. Since this lead to Genji getting the two hitmen to the bar.]

Crowley! Thank goodness you're here too. Where are you?
[ He won't be too far, because he's only just got here. Doesn't mean he can tell one of these streets from the other and tell Crowley's just gotten out of the decontamination area. ]

Er.
[Crowley looks behind him. Just where is he, anyway?]
Just got here. Their introduction session could use some work.

[ It should just be back the way he came, but he wouldn't be surprised if he managed to get lost anyway. ]

There's a bar.
no subject
[But hey, good news.]
Any decent wine?
no subject
Mn, I haven't actually been there yet. I'd be willing to go and distract the robot bartender so you can grab something, though. [He's been getting bored, ok?]
no subject
[He could probably come up with a distraction on his own, but...]
Eh, why not. I'm game if you are.
no subject
[Gokudera would love to see that, but he's great at getting into trouble.]
Sure. Might grab a drink as well. [He's hoping there is sake or soju. It'd be fun to get the baseball idiot drunk. It'd be even more fun to get drunk with him.]
