Is there anyone around here that's good with robotics and/or programming?

[The boy points to a leather half choke collar around his neck. The kitten on his shoulder yawns, tucks its face against the collar, and one of its legs hang off, the flames gushing out of its ears doing absolutely nothing to Gokudera's neck.]

This keeps shocking me, and it can't be removed. It only started when I arrived on Anchor, so I think the travel here is causing it to ma- [He winces gently, and the kitten gets up and then hops off and out of the camera's view.] malfunction.

[No no, not Peter either. Both of them might be dealing with the same 'complete and utter lack of memories' problem. There's a pause.]

I do my best not to associate much with the constructs, but I know un:starscream is one of them.

Why is that? It seems that would be useful. [Maybe only in the kind of situation Gokudera is in]

Good. You may field any questions his way, then. As for me, I am simply not fond of constructs, and that's all there is to it.

By constructs, what do you mean, exactly? [He has assumptions. They might come across as rude, so he'll just seek to clarify.]

I mean constructs. Beings who are constructed. Made rather than born, usually of metal parts.

What makes you think contacting a construct would benefit me with robotics and programming? Not every human is a specialist in the ways of humans.

[Just because he's a human does not make him an expert with other human's problems. Wouldn't contacting a programmer or a mechanic be the best course?]

At least they may have some notion of robotics, seeing how they are robots.

[Or at least one of them is. He's pretty sure Starscream will deny it all day long, but he looks like a robot to Carlisle, so.]
