[ You'd be forgiven for thinking that this world had sent Starscream away, considering he hasn't been present in Anchor for a good while. Not down in the public park, not in the vehicle bays, not even poking around engineering. No word of a departure, no expected return.

And yet here he is! Spending an obscenely long time in the garage decontamination showers, until the systems check finally says he's free of dangerous radiation levels. Sadly, it seems Anchor is not yet free of him. ]

In all your little scurrying about and exploring this place, tell me someone has come across excavation equipment. Specifically rock drills and cutters. For that matter, are there any hauling carts? Mag-grav would be best, I'm not carrying this all back by hand. I'm not a mining drone.

Further, I require the following items:

[ He lists off about a dozen parts, which individually aren't that special, but combined sound an awful lot like he's building a distillation tank. ]

Finally, I have high fidelity scans of planetary areas outside the colony. In exchange for assistance with extracting my located resources, I will share them with the rest of you.

[It's taking everything in him not to burst into laughter.]

All right, babe, all right, I'll give you a chance to sweeten the deal: show us a sample of these scans you say you have.

[ Starscream considers for a moment, but the request isn't outlandish. He'll transmit a file showing a cross-section of a kilometer square section, neatly divided into topographical, seismologic, and spectography readouts. Everything from soil ionization to mineral collation. Whatever scanners he's using, they're extensive and detailed. ]

Satisfied?

[Scaramouche isn't as fast with his reply this time, taking a moment to look over the data he's been sent. He didn't expect a scan like this.

First things first:]

You're holding out on me, babe. How did you get these?

[vosseeker]

What do you mean, how? I took them from the air, obviously. Seeker scanners are far superior to anything else on this dusty chunk of rock.

[numerouno]

They're yours?

[They better be. If he finds out they've had aerial scanners all this time...]

[vosseeker]

Correct. Now, about my request?

[numerouno]

[A pause for effect, or because he's still eyeing that scan he received. It could be either or both.]

Is that all you've got for me?

[vosseeker]

What more do you want?

[numerouno]

Something worthwhile, for starters. What about the city? Where are those pictures?

[vosseeker]

Then it seems you're destined to be disappointed.

[numerouno]

How long has it been since you ate?

[vosseeker]

Since my arrival, three months ago.

[numerouno]

Three months!? [It comes out as a laugh.] I'd play in harmony if I were you, babe.

[vosseeker]

I do not recall asking your advice.

[ He is starting to get pretty hungry though. Considering he's used to fueling on a more or less daily basis, this is really starting to take its toll. ]

[numerouno]

Hey look, babe, do you want to starve?

[vosseeker]

[ Starscream hisses out a Vosian epithet, but he doesn't challenge that particular point. ]

Fine. City pictures.

[numerouno]

[Scaramouche lets a few seconds pass in silence.]

I'm waiting.

[vosseeker]

I don't have them instantly! I have to go take them. If you want them faster, you go get them!

[numerouno]

I'm not the one with aerial scanners, babe.

[vosseeker]

[ Starscream snarls and shuts off the feed, but he does come back later with said information... ]
