The last place I was did something... similar. Whether it actually killed you or made it seem like that I don't know. Never went through it myself, don't much want to.

It isn't something that I recommend. Not even once.

Twice, in a manner of speaking. Once technically from being put onto more drugs than a body can sustain, but it also kept me alive on life support of them, so to speak. The second was more absolute. It was a complete organ failure, from cut off from the same drugs. not something you just recover from with better medicine.
