You know what I was just thinking? "It would be great to visit a creepy, mostly abandoned colony right now." Because the first several times we had to answer a distress call or had a mission that took us to these outposts weren't bad enough.

That's not really why I'm typing this up. Correct me if I am wrong but it looks like most people here are human. That's a little bit of a problem for me. Love humans, honestly. Some of my close friends are human.

The whole "we evolved on levo-amino acid-based biospheres" is the deal-breaker. I can't exactly eat levo-based food. Well I could but I'd prefer a better death than that. So what I'm trying to ask is if there is, possibly, any alternatives.

I mean I'd really like to not starve if that's possible. Just throwing that out there for consideration.

Apparently all confined multiverses enjoy humans. For some bizarre reason.

Give credit where it's due. They are highly adaptable and extremely driven.

My people are pretty bad when it comes to having a sense of duty, but humans are downright tenacious if they need to be. And they don't seem to care about their own limitations.

They could stand to tone it down though. Not every situation calls for it.

Probably not, no. I still find it pretty entertaining especially when the other party doesn't realize who they are dealing with.

Nothing beats seeing your girlfriend headbutt a fully grown Krogan. The look on his face was priceless.

We live for millennia and were once worshipped by humans as gods.

Our home no longer exists though. As a species, I suppose we would be considered endangered.

Mine's in pretty bad shape so I can sympathize with that much at least.

Not really my place to comment about the worshiping though. I think that is just what happens when a more advanced civilization comes into contact with a primitive one. At least that's what it seems like sometimes.

That was the case. We haven't followed up on it in centuries, but the stories linger.

Making a significant impact on a civilization and that will happen. For us the Asari talk about the Protheans like they had been a noble and intelligent people. Then the Hanar take it to the next level and pretty much worship them.

But to live for that long. Don't you get bored?

Not particularly. I don't spend that much time with mortals and when the people you associate with also lead long lives, the threat of boredom is not so strong.

Besides it is a wide universe. How can one be bored?

That only works if you like spending time around them. Can't say that I'd want to hang around for eons with a bunch of people that get on my nerves or don't know how to have a little fun.

Considering how limited we are, I do not think we have those kinds of nerves to work over anymore.

A shame that it takes some major crisis or the threat of extinction for everyone to finally start to get along.

I would like to think that somewhere out there that people are better than that, yeah.
