[ Like most, Ami arrives confused and afraid. As soothing as Idris Elba's deep British voiceover is, the video still raises at least as many questions as it answers. First off, why is it Idris Elba? And if the very first room is in disrepair - there's exactly one living plant, incongruously - how much of the rest was false advertising, too?

The simplest and safest first step, though, is to grab a communicator and start skimming through the messages. One is like three hours long, she skips that for now... something something wreckage... something something antique documents... (Where are the timestamps? How old are these messages?) Ultimately, though, an audio post keeps her attention - a woman, terrified, being pursued by something inhuman.

By the time the sound cuts out, Ami's heart is racing. Suddenly, she's very glad she didn't go straight to exploring. ]

[ Ami shoots a curious look at the wristbands. She could ask what they are, but... she kind of wants to be surprised? Holy shit she must be completely bonkers why is she agreeing to this. ]

When! Yes! Let's go! Before I come to my senses!

[ Whenever he's ready, she'll climb onto his back and hang on for dear life! ]

[He will be nice and kneel down so she can climb on, and once she's on, he straight up nosedives off the edge of the walkway YOLO.

The purpose of the wristbands is revealed RIGHT NOW, when he shoots a strand of webbing at a support beam to slow and steer their decent. He does this a few more times, refraining from doing any crazy stunts since he has a passenger. They finally come to a stop on the ground level, where he kneels down yet again so she can hop off.]

[ Oh god help she was not expecting to go upside down

Ami shrieks in terror, but only on the first drop. They're not dead, he's got some kind of grappling hooks(?), Peter knows what he's doing, he's got this. She shrieks on the other drops, too, she can't help it, but the rest are shrieks of laughter. Probably right in his ear, sorry bro.

She keeps a vise grip on him the entire time, only letting go when they've come to a complete stop. She doesn't hop off so much as stumble, her face bright red, unable to stop laughing. ]

Woo!! That was freakin' wild! Haha!! Oh my god! Okay I need to sit down.

[ And she just... lies down in the grass. She may have overdone it a little. ]

[Peter can take the screaming, it's fiiine. Just don't horf on him and we're golden. He'll brush himself off a bit while she lies down to chill for a bit, he's not in any rush to get anywhere so it's all good.]

Sorry, I tried to take it easy. Sometimes you just gotta do flips, though, y'know?

[It's a habit, he can't help it. Gotta look cool while you're swinging around and shit.]

Oh, yeah, no, the flips are super necessary. [ Without a hint of sarcasm! Well, maybe a hint. A salt bae sprinkling. Either way, it was fun. ]

[ She takes a minute or two to catch her breath, covering her face with both hands for part of it. There's a part of her still trying to digest what's happening, what it all means. A space station! Another world! Superheroes! And then there's her! Then there's just... regular old Ami, leagues out of her depth, in terrible danger!

But that part of it, she can put off thinking about. Right now, right this second, she feels ... safe? Safe enough. This moment is a good moment.

Finally, she gets around to sitting up, and looks out over the pond. ]

[See the best way to handle thinking about stuff like that is to NEVER think about it again. That's how Peter handles it, and it's working great for him! I mean it's not even almost a little bit healthy, but shhhh.

He crosses his arms and looks over at the pond too, giving her a little shrug.]

If I remember right, the little intro video thing showed some of this stuff from before. Uh, before whatever happened here. Maybe when we all get some time, we can clean this up real good.

Oh yeah, it did. Weren't there butterflies...? [ She makes flitting gestures at the empty air. The poor butterflies.

Eventually she stands up, brushing the grass off her clothes. ]

I don't know if I can think about a beautification project already. It feels like... admitting you just live here now, you know?

She does raise a good point, though. Shit, Peter's already kind of just accepted this shit now. Now that he's stopping to think about it, it kind of feels like giving up in a weird way? But at the same time he's friggen dead back home, so shit, maybe this just is his new home now.
