I might be tempting fate by doing something relaxing, but--
[Poison trails off for a moment, muttering something just out of earshot of what the device is able to capture. While what she's saying can't quite be made out, it sounds scolding.]
I'm making some bread in the kitchens. Um. If anyone wants to join me I can personalise a roll for them.
[It's not too often that Poison actually offers out her company like that, but... she's feeling the need for some living companionship very keenly right now.]
Or we can just talk. That's fine, too.

[Unless something major happens he does not think they are going to suddenly have the fixings for sushi here.
He moves in close, looking at what she is doing and the moment she says make it more interesting his eyes spark.]
Oh? What do you do?
[Whatever it is, he's in!]

[It all adds to the flavour, and Poison will always relish being able to do exactly what she wants. Right now, she's slowly kneading a lump of bread dough, having already worked through the first steps.
She is, of course, covered in a light dusting of flour.]
If you can wait until I'm done with this, we can start a new one.

[Honey and seeds happen to be a familiar sweet addition to him and it makes him smile., He watches her as she needs, nodding as he takes a step back to give her space.
If she is covered in flour now, wait till they make a loaf together.]
I got time!
no subject
[She kneads the dough for a minute or so longer, then picks it up and drops it into a nearby bowl, covering it over with a cloth.]
We can leave that alone for a while. Get some warm water and flour and come over here, and we can start.
no subject
When she instructs him he does as told, grabbing some flour and warm water to bring over to her. That stuff sure is puffy though, he may already have a little on the front of his shirt from getting it.]
Got it!!
no subject
When she can find it, anyway.]
Part of the fun is getting messy.
no subject
Good idea.
[He gets an apron, tying it around himself as he steps up beside her with that usual excitement in his eyes. Another chuckle and grin.]
I know how to make messes.
no subject
Bring the flour here. Pour it out until I tell you to stop.
[Measurements? What are they?]
no subject
Got it! [Over he comes, tipping it and begin to shake some out he snorts at the white cloud he momentarily creates before slowing himself down.
Measurements are for suckers!]
no subject
Ah! Alright, stop, stop. [She says, waving both hands at him and laughing again.]
That's enough. We can do the next part.
no subject
Alright! What's next? [He asks with a wide grin.]
no subject
Now we need to make the dough. Make a well in the middle, and we're going to pour some warm water in there.
[After that, the yeast, sugar and salt comes next.]
no subject
Haha! This stuff is really poofy! Is that big enough?
[As long as it is he'll watch her put water in, yeast, sugar, and salt, keeping an eye on the measurements as they go.]
no subject
[She doesn't measure anything in cups or jugs as most people would in more 'modern' times, but she is careful to explain just how much she of each ingredient she's putting in in her own terms. Hopefully he can follow along.]
Okay, now this is the tricky part. Are you ready?
no subject
[Honestly, she is probably easier to follow than normal modern times, Yamamoto is not one to explain things or do them the way most people do and he always learns better hands-on!]
You bet, what do we do now?
no subject
[And she will join him, because she's not planning to stand idly by while he gets his hands dirty.]
Then start folding it in on itself. It isn't going to look like much at first.
no subject
[He makes sure to wash his hands thoroughly.
Then he picks up the dough, not quite understanding, he starts folding just small sections at a time]
Like this?
no subject
[At first, it's going to be a mess. Poison lightly nudges him aside then pushes her hands into the flour, folding it into the water mixture in the middle. It sticks to her fingers and she makes a face, but grins.]
See? It combines together.
no subject
[he makes the sound, grinning at her before he nudges in so they can do it together. When it sticks to his fingers he holds them up and wiggles them at her.]
It's sticky bread.
no subject
Put some flour on your hands. It'll still less. For a bit, anyway.
[Making bread is so messy, but so much fun.]
no subject
Like this?
[And he dives his hands into the flour, pulls them out, and POOOF big white cloud of floury hell coming their way!]
no subject
[No, spirits, not like that. Too late now, and she's still laughing as she wafts her hands in front of herself to try and dissipate the cloud.]
Not exactly what I had in mind!
