video @Yamamoto
[He fiddles with the screen after he first appears for a moment. Once he has it set he gives a big thumbs up to the camera with a smile. Excuse the slightly sweaty teenager in his sword practice clothing. He has been training when he gets the chance.]
Yo, I'm Takeshi Yamamoto, are there any places good for sword training?
[He has been exploring but he misses the dojo where he usually trains. He has one more question but first, a sparrow who looks to be made of rain flutters around his head while a pup with three short swords with blades appearing rain made as well pops up to lick his face. He laughs.]
Oh, Jiro and Kojiro say hi too. Does anyone need any help with projects or jobs? [He would like to keep training but also get involved in helping around Anchor any way he can.]

[Down time gives her too much time inside her own head, and the inside of Julie's head is a dangerous place to linger too long these days. She grins crookedly and waves a hand out across the agriculture zone.]
You been up here yet? I can show you around. It's bigger than it looks.
no subject
That'd be great, I haven't gotten to exploring up here much yet.

[Do NOT eat the seizure apples.
Julie shoves her hands into her pockets as she starts off towards the orchard, kicking at a few clods of dirt and tufts of grass growing up through the path.]
How long have you been here?
no subject
[Definitely not going to eat the seizures apples and always check with Julie before consuming anything because WHAT?!
He follows suit, arms propped behind his head with palms linked against his scalp. He'll clear anything with the toe of a sneaker as they go.]
We got here a couple of weeks ago if I am counting right. Everyone else seems to have been here a lot longer. [Time and timelines are still kind of jumbled in his head, but he doesn't think they have been here longer than two weeks at this point.]
no subject
[She will show him the seizure apples once they get to them, and also a few other things that he probably shouldn't be eating without checking first. Most of the things are fine, but...
She's seen some things, okay?]
Mm, I've been here for months. People come and go sometimes but there's a few of us who came in on the first import, or whatever.
no subject
He can imagine; he has seen a few strange things himself]
I wonder how they go home if they transporter doesn't work. [Seems worth looking into, some force has to be taking them away right, yet they aren't supposed to have the ability to leave yet.]

[Her voices tenses up when as she says that, something locked deep in the back of her throat that she swallows down. 'And it's not fair'. She clears it away with a cough and waves towards some more trees as they pass.]
Those are safe. I mean, most of the stuff is safe, just don't eat anything that looks weird.
no subject
[He really hopes that doesn't happen to him; he wouldn't want to leave Gokudera here alone. He gave his word to be here for all these people and until everyone can go home he would not feel it fair to leave them behind. He can hear the tenseness in her voice; he does not comment but gives a patient smile. It can't be easy being the one left behind.]
That sounds like good life advice no matter what planet you're on.
no subject
Then she smirks and shrugs one shoulder, trying to compartmentalise and move on.]
Mm, yeah. I don't know exactly what the apples do to you if you eat one, but I mean... why would you want to?
no subject
He is not intrusive, but he hopes over time she'll trust him enough to talk, he'd be glad to listen. There's a laugh.]
Best case it makes you shake like the apple, worst case, yeah I don't think I'll try them.
no subject
[Knowing the weird shit that goes on in this place, they don't actually do anything at all and they're just some freaky Halloween-version of regular apples that just exist to creep you out.
She shakes her head, and as they walk they slowly make their way around to where a barn has been set up.]
Uh... I think there's someone living in there, but we've not really talked.
no subject
[That would be nice, at least then they'd know there were not apples out to get them the same as some of the other less friendly creatures around here.
He glances over to the barn, looking to see if he can find a sign of anyone.]
In a barn? [He chuckles, not teasing just genuinely amused at the thought of someone living in a barn.]
no subject
[Shrug. Hell, why not live in a barn? Do what makes you happy or some shit like that. Julie's thought about moving rooms but all her stuff is in the one she's using now and it just feels like way too much hastle.]
I see him walking around here sometimes. There's something--
[Ehhhh.]
Weird about him.
no subject
[He won't mess with the guy, probably introduce himself. Just make sure that he is not a threat to Julie because she may have known him five minutes but to Yamaoto that is enough time to be friends.]
no subject
[Hell, he seems like the kind of guy who would introduce himself to just about anyone. Julie used to be like that, too.]
You this chatty with everyone you meet?
no subject
[He is exactly that kind of guy, no matter what the world gives him he keeps trying to make it brighter with his presence.]
Is that weird?
no subject
Yeah-- Yeah, I guess so. I've made a lot of friends because I've had to, in places like this.
no subject
It's better that way, I'd be lonely without my friends.
[Besides, she may not realize it but she is now one of those friends in his eyes. it does not take much with this guy.]
no subject
Yeah, I guess. I suppose I avoid it more than I used to. Means it sucks less when people leave.
[And for Julie, the idea of people leaving before she does has always been a certain one.]
no subject
Doesn't that get lonely?
[it is not a prying question or not meant to be, it is just earnest. ]
no subject
[She shrugs, though the motion almost seems to falter half way through as her thoughts drift off.]
But there's worse things than being lonely.
no subject
Really, I guess I'd rather have known the person and gotten to care for them, at least I'd have memories.
no subject
Yeah, well... when you lose enough people, the memories just end up like a weight around your neck.
no subject
Not if you treat them like a warm blanket. When I found out my old man had died and that if we didn't defeat Byakuran there was no way to change the future and stop it, I realized that even if he was gone I had to do what I could to be a good son and be happy, because that's what he'd want. I think the older me must have felt the same way. So I just wrapped myself in the memories I had with him and kept trying to smile no matter how much it hurt.
