Yo, I'm Takeshi Yamamoto, are there any places good for sword training?

[He has been exploring but he misses the dojo where he usually trains. He has one more question but first, a sparrow who looks to be made of rain flutters around his head while a pup with three short swords with blades appearing rain made as well pops up to lick his face. He laughs.]

Oh, Jiro and Kojiro say hi too. Does anyone need any help with projects or jobs? [He would like to keep training but also get involved in helping around Anchor any way he can.]

[You know, less bad guys to fight all the time, Tsuna would be down for that.]

[ Tuna? No, that's not it. ]

[Oh, if only he says that out loud someday. The boys will, well Yamamoto will laugh, Gokudera, it will probably involve bombs. Tsuna, say it with him Connor, Tsuna.]

[ Nah.

He's heard of Japan, but only in passing, and knows basically nothing about it. That does explain why the names are so strange to him. ]

[It's his dream to someday play in the Majors, of course, his life has another plan for him but he has not given up yet.]

[No, he has not, he has been plugging along without even considering that.]

Whoa, seriously, that's a really long time ago. You don't look it.

[Then again, he is thinking maybe this is like the parallel worlds, how they came in different times in their own time's lines but all that is really confusing. He has decided if the universe is going to make him an adventurer he will just embrace it and go from ten years in the future, back home and back again then to other worlds with a smile.]

Or it's not like that huh? You probably came from 1787 to here?

[ Well. At least Yamamoto figured it out on his own. ]

It's the latter. I was born 1756.

[When he applies himself he is smarter than he seems most times.]

Whoa, weird, you'd be hundreds of years old in my world.

A lot of people here are from at least a century after me.

[ Basically, he's used to it. ]

I've only been ten years in the future, I didn't know you could go that far. Is it strange, learning about technology and stuff?

[He is genuinely curious, he saw how advanced the world got in ten years, how weird would it be going another hundred years or so further?]

[ Yamamoto travelled in time? That explains why he was so quick to accept the time discrepancies, then. ]

It has been ... interesting.

[ Not necessarily strange, but a lot of the things he's read about or experienced himself aren't quite as fantastical as the artifacts from Those Who Came Before. He already has knowledge of things that are more advanced than humanity has accomplished in his time. ]

I find it far more strange to learn more about the things I thought I already understood.

[ Like atoms. Atoms are wild. ]

[Yamamoto has traveled through time multiple times. And to another dimension or parallel universe. He is not a hundred percent sure what the Choice battle arena would be called. And this was all before his first trip to another world like Anchor. So yeah, that stuff is old bag for him.]

[he looks thoughtful at that. Coming to Anchor had definitely taught him that things weren't what he may think. After all, his friend is here and yet it is a version of him that existed for two years outside of their home before ending up here with Yamamoto. So yeah, complicated.]

Huh? Like what? [Honestly curious, he likes learning things even if he does not always understand them.]

I was somewhere else that was simply called the City before I arrived here.

[ He pauses for a moment in thought. ]

I never wondered what our bodies or the leaves on a tree are made of. Only ever accepted the simple truth that we exist, and trees exist. It seems there are others in the world who ask questions about things I would take for granted.

Strange, you'd think they'd want a real name.

[He shrugs, his naming sense isn't the best, so maybe he's not the only one?]

What we're made of? Like our bones? [Blink, that sounds deep and interesting, tell him more Connor.]

I think you mean scientists, they study the human body and that kind of stuff.

[ A nod. ]

Smaller than our bones. Cells and atoms. Someone told me we are made of the same material as the stars.

[ Which is truly mind blowing when you've never heard about any of it before. ]

[Yamamoto's eyes go wide in surprise, then he is holding his hand up and looking at it wiggling the fingers.]

No way, how can we be the same as the stars? [That is so freaky and cool and he really wants to know more. Teach him Connor!]
