[He fiddles with the screen after he first appears for a moment. Once he has it set he gives a big thumbs up to the camera with a smile. Excuse the slightly sweaty teenager in his sword practice clothing. He has been training when he gets the chance.]

Yo, I'm Takeshi Yamamoto, are there any places good for sword training?

[He has been exploring but he misses the dojo where he usually trains. He has one more question but first, a sparrow who looks to be made of rain flutters around his head while a pup with three short swords with blades appearing rain made as well pops up to lick his face. He laughs.]

Oh, Jiro and Kojiro say hi too. Does anyone need any help with projects or jobs? [He would like to keep training but also get involved in helping around Anchor any way he can.]

Thank you! Right, I've only fought in an actual battle with these guys twice but we did a lot of training with Squalo.

[And these were not his first battles, it shows in the determined eyes that the question illicit. He is serious, this is something important to him. Well good, because he already won the lotto for being Yamamoto's favorite person he has met when he offers to train.

Landing there on Yamamoto's shoulder it is clearly a sparrow beneath the rain flames that cover it. The pup as if knowing someone is interested in it is nosing the video.]

That would be Jiro. [He says it with a laugh as the pup licks the screen in greeting. Then he turns his head enough to smile at the bird] This is Kojiro.

All the better to be prepared should another battle arise. You never know when the fighting may find you, even if you do not go looking for it.

[That sure is a bird that seems to be raining, but hey, he's not gonna judge. He has a spirit dragon and two tiny snow dragons adopted from the wilderness here.]

Hello Jiro! Hello Kojiro!

[He waves at them through the screen.]

I usually practice on the upper levels where no one really goes. Lots of open space and less people. I set up some targets but they are looking... not at their best.

[He's kind of chopped them to pieces at this point.]

That's what I was thinking.

[Because his last battle, well, he won but he didn't if that makes any sense. Of course, his companions are not at fault and them receiving their own greeting makes the young hitman smile.]

I could help make new ones too. That's where I went but I didn't want to hit anyone else stuff.

[He has so much energy to burn it should have its own zip code.]

Feel free to hit them, that is what they are for. Or me, I can dodge anything.

[Cocky, but he knows it's true.]

[It is a friendly response but there is determination. Yamamoto will give his all to hit Genji, everyone needs a goal to work toward.]

You can call me Yamamoto, everyone does. We don't have Overwatch what's that like Elite forces? [He thinks here, he knows his reality at home but he has never said it out loud to anyone except Gokudera in their argument when he lectured him about being the right hand.]

I'm the Vongola Rain Guardian. That's why I have to train my hardest to protect everyone. Then Tsuna can change the mafia. [He likes Genji, something about the man is trustworthy and so Yamamoto says it.]

[Oh he likes you.]

That sounds similar. It was a global force trying to protect the world and stop a war from occurring. I'm not sure how successful we were, but we tried.

Rain guardian? What's a rain guardian? .. And what is this about the mafia?

[Yakuza party boy is intrigued.]

[Right back at ya! It's a match made in sword training heaven.]

[He nods, then he explains, it may sound strange because he certainly does not look old enough for the next part of this conversation.]

Yes, my friend, he's the 10th Generation Vongola Boss, he has guardians, kind of his group of fighters who protect the family, I'm the Rain Guardian because that's my attribute. We're fighting to change the future, stop the violence, and keep everyone safe. Gokudera says we win. I haven't lived that yet, last I remember is losing the last battle because I was too carefree, I didn't take an enemy out because he was unarmed, I just disabled him and he came back.

We won for a time, but the threat came back, worse. And now there are far too few of us. I will fight to the end, but it doesn't look good. I need to get back home, every person they are missing is one that could have turned the tide. It may be me.

[He'd been the one to save Winston from certain death after all. He does have a knack for showing up right at the perfect moment. ]

So someone else from your world is here? And from further in the future? That.. sounds unsettling. I had heard from others that when they went home from places similar to this no time had passed. I'd hoped that to be true.

[That's actually concerning. What if everyone back home is dying?]

It's the same in all worlds, just like Byakuran said, maybe when we stop him, it will change your world too. I know there was a lot of talk about parallel worlds and that was why we had to beat him in the world we were in, it was the only one we could win in because we had our rings. I think you might still be there, fighting.

[Well, he may be able to help with that worry. He sounds confused as he continues only because timelines are so chaotic and blurred.]

Yeah, he was in another world for two years, but in my world, he never left, I was with him right before I came here. So I think somehow a version of us stays at home still living our life.

That is .. rather creepy. So a version of me is still home and when I return I will merge with them and suddenly have their memories?

I don't think I like that at all.

Which I suppose does not matter since I have no say in it. Peter has been trying to repair the teleporters but so far he hasn't been successful. So it's unsure whether we can return at all.

It's like there are a bunch of different versions of you, in a bunch of places, I guess, I don't know if you realize when you switch with one in a different world. But if you go to the future you know you switched at least in our world.

Maybe there is something we need to do for this world before we can go home.

How?! None of this makes sense. Nothing here makes sense! I hate being in a world we do not understand and seems to have arbitrary rules. How are we supposed to find a way home when we do not truly even grasp the technology and resources we are given?

You talk as though the area is sentient and would know when we accomplished a goal and then would send us back. That is slightly horrifying.

Wait, what?! I did?! If it's sentient doesn't that mean it has a life of its own? I don't want a planet to get mad at me, that could be really bad!

[Yeah, he totally had a good idea there but now it's all blown out of the water because he did not realize what he was implying. Mind Blown dude!]

But how else would that work if we have to accomplish something to be sent home? Unless you mean fixing the teleporter and if it were so easy we would have by now.

We have to be really careful then, we don't know what would make a planet mad.

Have you met Peter yet? He is trying to fix all the technology, he is some sort of scientist -he told me once but I forget what he specializes in.

He brought me to the teleporter in the entry room and we tried to fix it, but it didn't work. Though admittedly I only know how to fix myself - not other machines.

I met him when I first arrived, he caught me feeding Jiro at the buffet. I don't remember if he said he was a scientist but he was pretty interested in my sword technique, seemed like a nice guy.

He is, very helpful, wants to save the world. A hero type. The world needs more heroes.

Yup! That's why me and my friends fight, to protect everyone, I guess Tsuna would be considered a hero.

[So would you Yamamoto but of course he doesn't see it that way.]

And what of you?

[He chuckles.]

I just try my hardest to keep everyone safe, I don't think I'm a hero.

Is that not what a hero is? Someone who keeps others safe?

Huh, I guess you're right I just never thought of myself as the hero type. I'm just helping my friends.

True heroes are not in it for the glory, they are simply doing what they must. You fit that description do you not?

Oh [He sounds thoughtful, then sheepish, still modest about it with a laugh.]
