What would you do if you could change the world?

I mean, if you could LITERALLY change it. Not just make small changes by doing something, or saving someone.

If you could write something and have it be true, what would you do?

Yes, why wouldn't I? It's better if everyone can be safe and happy. It'd be selfish to think of just me.

I suppose it's just surprising.
I don't have a very high opinion of humans on the whole.

Now now, we're not all so bad. Sure, there are bad guys out there but they can change. A lot of the guys we've fought have ended up allies.

Some of the bad people I've fought have ended up dead. Some of them got a little better. Most of them didn't change.

Me too, it's better not to kill if you can avoid it. If they don't change then you have to stop them. You won't know if you can do it till you try. So you have to try.

Would you still try if someone was intending to cook and eat you?

If I can, yes. But I'm not going to get eaten, so I'd do what I had to do.

It sounds like you come from a more idealistic place than I do.

Oh, that explains it. I'm not from Earth.

I come from a village called Gull, in the Black Marshes. More recently though, the Phaerie Realm.

Phaerie Realm? Like with wings and stuff?

Phaeries are

lots of things.

Elves, sprites, nymphs, pixies, naiads, undines... lots more.
They're beautiful, and powerful, and not to be trusted.

I guess maybe you'd call that a Kitsune where I'm from.

Foxes; in some lore they are considered trickster spirits.

I see. Then yes, they'd fit in to the same kind of defintion. Maybe there's something similar and we call them something else.

Thatd be pretty cool, different worlds but the lore remains the same or close.

I don't know. The less worlds with phaeries in the better, I think.

Many stories have the basis in some kind of fact.

Huh, I suppose you're right but it's still nice to know the stories of your home.Thinking of them can make you a little less homesick.

I guess, sometimes I miss my old man.
