like once a month
and then filled up the rest of the month with airing all kinds of dirty laundry publicly like the worlds worst parody of a high school mean girls clique

There's only so many 'jaded and nearly retired police officer saves the world' movies one can watch before you can predict every single one.

Why was that decade so obsessed with terrible action movies? And poorly done explosions.

every decade kinda has that one dumb trend everybody went apeshit over for reasons later decades scratch their heads at
i figure they probably finally got the tech to be able to pull off action special effects that they couldnt before and everybody was wowed by it what with it being new and fresh at the time

I wonder what the trend was in this place was before it was abandoned. Maybe there were hologram movies that were all romantic comedies.

It is strange we have a movie rental store from a time period so far removed from how advanced the city is.

theyve got these heavy rose tinted glasses glued to their faces when it comes to shit from decades past

I have never understood nostalgia like that. Dwelling in the past serves no one.

And what people remember is not really how it was, time distorts memories in strange ways.

You are not wrong. I think we all miss home, that's different.

I never thought I had taken clouds for granted, but apparently I had. And being able to go to other locales. Or cars.

i know this place is supposed to be our home now but its just shitty as all hell
not that it couldnt be worse
trust me it can get much worse than this
but it feels like a space station you get stuck on while counting the days until your mission is over or a shitty dorm you grit your teeth and bear with cause you aint got better options
if that makes sense??

It is exactly that. It is the layover on a flight to the mission. We aren't even in the right place yet so there's nothing to do but sit around and wait.

At least the accommodations are better than a cot in a huge room with ten other people.

i mean not that i really know any of em beyond the most basic interactions but no ones giving off serial killer vibes yet so thats nice

No one has killed anyone that I know of. And I've been here for almost a year. That's a good sign right?

Or it means they are very covert and good at hiding their tracks.

I really am. There is a library, and much to still explore in this place, but a lot of it looks the same.

There was a giant plant that tried to kill everyone, so there is some excitement sometimes.
