Uh... hey. Julie Cabernet here. Guess some of you might remember me.
[For varying reasons, she supposes, but she doesn't really care right now if the only thing some people remember her for was that one time she lost her mind over a stray Null. She still stands by what she said... and she's not sorry they got destroyed.
But that's not what this is about. Julie is stood looking up at the agriculture zone of the topmost level.]
I bet we could do really well out of the plants up there... Assuming we can actually eat what's growing. The toxicity readouts don't look too hot.
[She sniffs slightly, lifting her hand to shield her eyes against the bright light currently shining in through the shield.]
Don't suppose anyone's found a 'how-to' manual on how to fix the tech.
[The message cuts off there, only to come back a few moments later like there's something she forgot to say. She looks a little more unsure this time, though.]
So... we've all seen it looks like a fucking war happened here, right?

Some jerkwads back in Hadriel decided they were gonna build a ship nobody needed, with all the fucking wood we had. Even the orchard.

You know much about agriculture? [Diego knows at least a little about a lot, Dad had made sure of that, but it's not like he's ever actually manned a farm or even a garden or anything like that.]

[Sitting around isn't Julie's style, anyway. She needs to be up, doing something, or she'll just spiral into depression. And she shrugs slightly at the question, then smiles a little as if reminded of something.]
Yeah I know a bit. We grow our own food back home, even if it's not really enough. Something about coaxing that new life out of the ground is just... [Here she trails off, and clears her throat.]
Yeah, I know some shit about agriculture.

Are we talking like, carpentry, or knife-throwing?

I mean, I guess you can have both, but we're talking seriously different skill sets if you do.

[Accurate, not a lie, and somehow still not the full truth.]

[Shrug.]
So, is it both? Because that's kind of cool, if it is.

Maybe you could show me. Probably gonna have to build a few things here, right?

wrap-up? :>
Mmhm, yeah, I will. Thanks, Diego.

[ This really is a Hadriel reunion, isn't it? Maybe? He'll have to wait and see if she recognizes him before officially adding her to his tally, but either way it's more than coincidence. ]
I think I might've actually seen bits and pieces of whatever happened. Not enough to put it together, but there were... [ Ghosts? Visions? Hallucinations that weren't actually historically accurate at all? Drake doesn't actually know, and kind of waves his hand helplessly as he searches for a good word. ] Echoes?

Drake, right?
[Yeah, or something like that. The kind of name that lodges in your memory.]
I saw that, too. First few days we were here. I saw a weapons blast hit a wall, but then when I touched it, it was still warm.
