I don't know what we'll find. [The young woman hums out eventually.]
People might have got into them when the fighting started.

*Whatever caused the old damage. When, presumibly, the world here ended or went to hell for some reason.*

[She watches his hands as it trails along the wall. Poison is looking for spaces; for gaps between rooms that look too large.]
The whole place was... wiped out, I think. By something.

a bout
?
no subject
Not... much. Joe told me some things. That the people here were trying to get home.
no subject
theywere from
else where
too ?
no subject
That's what Joe said. We're not the first. I just don't want what happened to them to happen to us, too.

[And why would you NOT want to go home? Poison can understand that part, at least.]

*Normally he's not big on working together, but its how things happened in Norfinbury. Even people like House and the Joker ended up working with everyone towards that goal.
But here wasn't Norfinbury. Maybe without the Admin, Robert fucking Miller and the cult for them to be united against people got angrier with each other? Maybe. He's not sure how people worked.
Or perhaps...*
was there morethan one
way
?
or not every one could

[She reads the words hanging in the air, reads them again, and shrugs one shoulder. It's hard to say, especially when information from prior to their arrival is hard to come by.]
I don't think Joe remembers it very well. Or... maybe he just doesn't want to.

want
do
*He supposes he can't blame him. There are a lot of things he doesn't bother to remember.*

[Even if she thinks it's a bit ridiculous, given how much Joe seems to want to help them. It had been clear when she spoke to him that there were some things he just didn't want to push into.]
People don't work well together when there's a crisis. They get stupid, and selfish.

iguess it
de pends
*People didn't have much of a chance in Norfinbury, but people weren't that great back before then.*

[That's the best thing she can think of, and given some of the personalities crawling around this place... she's not placing her bets on everyone pulling together when things get tough.]

and what oth er opti ons

*Norfinbury it was 'figure this out' or 'die,' after all.*

[Then she pauses, mid-step, looking hard at a space between two closed doors leading to separate living spaces.]
Look. These two are further apart than the others.

how doyou think
op en
?

[Hard to tell, and she's never been hunting for hidden rooms quite like this before. She scans the walls, eyes slightly narrowed.]
Looks for something that's... out of place. Something that doesn't look like it belongs. Let's try that first.

ithink is

*Is it breakable or is there a switch somewhere? He hopes its not an ID card.*

[She moves in closer, running her fingertips down the barely-there seam in the wall. It's only this close that she can see it at all.
Amazing.
Poison steps back, looking to either side of the seam.]
There might be a button. Or something to push. It's probably as well-hidden as the door...
