Soooo I guess I... have a pet, now?
[She follows up this statement by lifting a winged dragon the size of a miniature dachshund into view. It wiggles, flapping its wings, and blue-green shimmers in a dappled pattern across its white scales. Julie sets the creature down on her lap where it seems happy enough to curl up on her lap and be have its head stroked.]
I never really had a pet before. [The young woman says then, briefly pursing her lips.] What do I call it? I'm taking suggestions.
[A beat, then--]
Like, legitimate suggestions.
