Qubit here. Keeping this quick: I need a few volunteers to provide blood samples for testing purposes. These will need to come from both sick and healthy individuals, please. Contact me if you're interested. Thanks in advance.

Don't be absurd. It's to better our understanding of the pathogen, nothing more.

Frankly, you've got some cheek, after that little stunt you pulled by the generators. Nice job putting everyone's lives in danger, by the way.

But sure blame me even though nothing happened and everything is fine. And here I thought you might want some of the shit we found.

[ Sure, Carlisle might have done the actual damage, but no one who's met him would believe it was his idea. ]
That said, it was a good find. Already coming in handy, in fact. It's got me wondering what other gems might be hiding right beneath our noses.

That little shit. What'd he give you?

[ ... Hm. He was trying to subtly imply some things, but maybe he should spell it out a little. ]
You misunderstand my intent, Kabal. I'm not just here to scold you. Quite the opposite; I want to make you a proposal.
Cut me in. With my expertise, you won't run the risk of blowing up the station or setting loose some deadly xenoparasite. I'll even let you take most of the credit, and should something go wrong, I'll go to bat for you.
I don't ask much in return - just an equal share of the loot, first refusal on pieces of scientific interest, and to be included in all such attempts in future. What do you think?

I'm already splitting this 70/30, cutting a third person in doesn't seem real beneficial to me now does it?
You just wanna get all the sciency shit first. How's that gonna be worth my while here? You're not selling it.
no subject
Kabal, you're lucky I'm offering you anything at all. Frankly, I'm not sold on what value you bring to the operation. As I recall, all you did last time was stand around bullying the poor fellow who did all the actual work.

Just cuz you want first dibs on tech doesn't mean you get it. What are the rest of this little crime syndicate getting for letting you join?

Still, it's only fair that Qubit lay out some of his qualifications as well. Even if he does take issue with the terminology. ]
Please. We're treasure hunters. [ Can't have organized crime if you don't got laws! ]
First: you'll be getting my knowledge and expertise, which is more than enough in itself. I can find us solutions that don't risk killing everyone in Anchor, for a start. And I can identify our findings, so you'll be pawning actual goods as opposed to mystery boxes.
Second: I'm technokinetic, which means I can quite literally shape machines to my will. I'm sure I needn't spell out how that will be useful. Play your cards right, and there could even be some custom gadgetry in it for you.
Third: I have access to the security systems.
no subject
See? Now you're making a compelling case. You need to lead with the: access to security system thing. That's important. I like keeping my blood inside my body for the most part, and that's a good way to make sure it stays there.
So what's the deal here, we let you into our little treasure hunting tomb raider party and you help identify the goods? I'm seeing the appeal.
[And Carlisle is a lackey so he doesn't get a say.]
