[It's pretty easy to notice that Ben is uncomfortable with talking about all this. After everything he'd told Peter about how he grew up, about the kind of person his father was, it's understandable. Ben is pretty much the leading authority on weird shit like this. Which is horrible, but at a time like this, it could be really useful.

Peter listens patiently, not interrupting when Ben pauses, not attempting to coax anything more out of him. He hates to put Ben on the spot like this, but this is all kind of a huge deal. When Ben finishes, Peter leans over and and gives his shoulder a squeeze.]
