[The video opens with a idyllic shot of horses grazing in a pasture with a barn in the background. Well idyllic if you discount the fact that they're clearly on the agriculture level of Beacon, one of the horses is glowing and the other is Branwen and that some of the other animals in the paddock are mutated deer. It's about as close to scenic as this place gets.]

Kieran and I have been working on getting a ranch going up here. Cho's been doing tests on the deer and they're good to eat so I'm gonna try and get a little herd going. But then over here...

[The camera pans to some cleared areas nearby with the smoothness of someone who has used their phone to film hundreds of Vine videos back home.]

I thought we could start some sort of farm? I've grown tomatoes before but I don't know anything about farming, I'm more the livestock sort. So if anyone wants to work on this, you're more than welcome.

Actually if anyone wants to help with any of this feel free. But don't try to pet the deer. They're not friendly.

We may need that. If you find any more deer go ahead and toss them into the pen. It took forever to catch them without hurting them.

No, I didn't drown. I leaned in to like kiss her, right, and despite my literal super power that gives me the ability to stick to any surface, I might have panicked a little and slipped and fell into the spring.

I've known you for over a year, it's the BEST advice.

You could ask her I guess, but I dunno how you'd phrase "so am I cute or an adorable dumpster fire" without it coming off really weird.

To be fair though, I think we all sound crazy talking about that. Hadriel just seemed like a crazy time in general. Like, I feel like I'm running my ass off here just constantly here? But I'm also way more relaxed.

Right? I felt a lot more like I was going to die at any moment back there. And here it seems like if we are dying it'll be a really slow process.

Which sounds terrible now that I've said it like that.

But I don't go to sleep expecting to not wake up. Progress I guess.

I mean that was a little morbid, but I get what you're saying. This is definitely progress. Not having gods or imminent war or killer robots constantly looming over our shoulders is really nice.

If the robots here attack us I think we can take them. I watched the one in the kitchen trip over a spoon a few days ago.

There's gotta be a catch though. I can't imagine this was all arbitrary and now we just live here happily ever after rebuilding a new Eden.

I don't know if there's a catch like deliberately? I do want to find out what happened to the last group of people that were here, though.

I found some skeletal remains up on the agriculture level but not nearly enough to be everyone who was here. To build this there must have been hundreds right?

It'd be weird if there wasn't a catch. And that's not just me being my normal pessimistic self - it's be actually really strange.

Hundreds at least, yeah. I need to stop getting sidetracked with projects and see if I can find anything useful in the computer systems. Surveillance footage or crew logs, something.

I'm totally with you there. Like yeah, things have gotten rough at times, but for the most part it's been pretty smooth sailing. There has to be more to it than this.

There's gotta be SOMETHING. Hundreds of people didn't live here without leaving something behind. Journals or photos or anything. We can't have only the welcome video and nothing else.

Unless everything was destroyed on purpose.
