[ACTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!]

[One day maybe Yamamoto Takeshi will learn to read a room or to simply realize some subjects are better left untouched. He honestly never meant to invade Hayato's privacy, did not even know the collar would do what it did. He meant to go sit on the beach on the Daisy Darling and just remember their times here together. In his desperation and grief when he was given more he reached for it.

One would hope that deactivated it would not be able to and that the only reason it activated the way it did was that it was Yamamoto who was wearing it and he technically "owned" the pet it was originally attached to. Not that these things would ever enter his mind, he could now nor ever see Hayato as being owned. It's not in his make-up to be that form of possessive, he loves him, he wants to keep him happy and safe but he does not feel he owns him in any way. Yes, he's his boyfriend and he would fight tooth and nail before giving that up but to him, that means a partnership, they support each other.]

If you need to rest first we can go back to the base, I've been staying there.

[He will have to apologize when his brain catches up with him, it's all so much and after his full-blown panic upon waking without the collar, his grief and the solitary confinement he has kept himself in all this time, he is misstepping here without meaning to. This should be nothing but a happy moment, they are here together.

Yamamoto would never ask Hayato to talk about what it was like being dead, he himself is not sure he could handle hearing it. Not when one of his biggest desires is to make the other happy, stop all the shit the world throws at him, really how much should one person have to take?

As they begin walking he shakes his head softly, eyes looking away, part of him knows Hayato is not going to be happy about how he reacted. He ripped, shredded, and otherwise gave in to his baser battle instincts till the zombies were gone.

Then he retreated, there may be more than one person on Anchor who thinks both hitmen are gone, he just could not face anyone. He did not want to hear how sorry they were or accept the hugs, he did not want someone to make him feel better. ]

No, I kept to myself and didn't want to run into anyone as they looked through them.
